Definition: A code which indicates a status of the incident.
Remarks: This field contains an indication of whether the event has been modified or terminated (either
directly or via the expiration of the event end timer). The allowed values for this field are “deleted”,
“expired”, and “updated”. The meaning of these follows:
• updated - used for any event that was not deleted or expired. This includes events that were recently
created. A newly created event will be indicated by the first occurance of an event identifier in the file
• deleted - used to indicate that an event was deleted
• expired - used to indicate that an event reached it's natural expiration
Definition: An unique event identifier. This field is an alphanumeric field that contains both the source
and a unique alphanumeric identifier.
Remarks: Any set of alphanumeric characters up to 32
Definition: This field is incremented every time a change is made to the event record in the TMS.
Remarks: Is an INTEGER ranging from 1 .. 65535. If an event ever reaches 65535, the field shall not
return to zero. Instead, the event must be ended, and a new event created with the same details but a new
event ID number. This will ensure that later updates always have higher update numbers than earlier updates.
